Pokémon Go’s February 2025 Community Day event will feature Karrablast and Shelmet

Get ready for a double dose of Community Day fun in Pokémon GO! This February, Karrablast and Shelmet take center stage.

Event Details:

  • Date: Sunday, February 9th
  • Time: 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM (Local Time)
  • Featured Pokémon: Increased spawns of Karrablast and Shelmet, with a chance to encounter their Shiny forms.

Exclusive Community Day Bonuses:

  • Increased Spawns: Karrablast and Shelmet will appear much more frequently in the wild.
  • Evolution Bonuses: Evolve your Karrablast into Escavalier (learning Razor Shell) and Shelmet into Accelgor (learning Energy Ball) during the event window. These attacks boast enhanced power in various battle types.
  • Triple XP & Double Candy: Catching Pokémon yields triple the XP and double the Candy. Trainers level 31 and above have a higher chance of receiving Candy XL.
  • Extended Duration Items: Lure Modules and Incense will last for three hours.
  • Trading Benefits: Enjoy one extra Special Trade and a 50% Stardust cost reduction.
  • Timed Research: A free Timed Research quest will be available to all players who log in during the event, offering additional encounters with Karrablast and Shelmet, and boosted Shiny odds.
  • Community Day Box: Two Community Day bundles will be available in the in-game shop, plus an Ultra Community Day Box on the Pokémon GO Web Store (starting February 3rd).
  • Special Research: Purchase a Community Day Special Research ticket for exclusive rewards, including encounters with Karrablast and Shelmet featuring a Dual Destiny-themed Special Background, additional encounters, a Premium Battle Pass, and Rare Candy XL.
