Pokémon Go's February Community Day: Karrablast, Shelmet, and Exciting Bonuses!

Get ready, Pokémon Go trainers! The February Community Day event details are here, featuring Karrablast and Shelmet. This exciting event runs from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time on February 9th, 2025.

Spotlight Pokémon:

Karrablast and Shelmet will be appearing more frequently in the wild, increasing your chances of catching them, including their Shiny variants. The real reward lies in their evolutions!

  • Evolving Karrablast (before February 16th, 10:00 p.m. local time) yields an Escavalier knowing the powerful Charged Attack, Razor Shell (35 power in Trainer Battles, 55 power in Gyms/Raids).
  • Evolving Shelmet within the same timeframe grants you an Accelgor with the Charged Attack, Energy Ball (a hefty 90 power in all battle types).

Special and Timed Research:

Participate in the Special Research for encounters with Karrablast and Shelmet featuring Dual Destiny-themed backgrounds, a Premium Battle Pass, and a Rare Candy XL. A week-long Timed Research event follows Community Day, unlocking further encounters with these special Pokémon.
