Secure Your Monster Hunter Wilds Pre-Order Bonuses Before It's Too Late!

With Monster Hunter Wilds launching February 28th, time is running out to claim those coveted pre-order bonuses. This guide breaks down every pre-order incentive and edition to help you make an informed decision.

Platform Availability:

Monster Hunter Wilds will be available on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC. It's skipping Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch due to performance limitations. A potential Nintendo Switch 2 release remains unconfirmed.

Pre-Order Bonuses:

Pre-ordering before February 28th unlocks these bonuses:

  • Hunter Layered Armor Set: Guild Knight
  • Talisman: Hope Charm

The pre-order DLC for Monster Hunter Wilds, the Guild Knight Set and Hope Charm.

While the Hope Charm's exact function is undisclosed, it's expected to provide a stat boost.

Game Editions:

Several editions offer varying levels of bonus content:

Standard Edition ($69.99): Base game and pre-order content.

Deluxe Edition ($89.99): Base game, pre-order content, and additional cosmetic items including layered armor sets, decorations, gestures, hairstyles, and more.

Premium Deluxe Edition ($109.99): Includes everything from the Deluxe Edition plus premium bonus content at launch and additional cosmetic DLC packs releasing in Spring and Summer 2025.

Japan-Exclusive Collector's Editions: These physical editions are currently only available in Japan:

Collector's Edition ($68): Steelbook, weapon bag, and Seikret plush (game not included).

The Monster Hunter Wilds Collector's Edition, with a picture of the game, a fluffy toy and a weapons bag.

Ultra Collector's Edition ($1,140): Includes the base game, pre-order content, Collector's Edition items, and a Monster Hunter Wilds Secret Folding Bicycle (shipped separately around April 2025).

The Monster Hunter Wilds Ultra Collector's Edition, with a picture of the game, a fluffy toy, a weapons bag and a folding bike.

International shipping for the Collector's Editions is not directly supported by Capcom's Japanese store.

Early Reactions:

While full reviews are pending, early previews and beta feedback have been largely positive, highlighting improvements in performance and a streamlined gameplay experience appealing to both newcomers and veterans. Additional open betas are scheduled for February 7-10 and February 14-17.
