Project NET, a GFL2 Third Person Shooter Spinoff, Opens Pre-Registrations

Girls' Frontline Spin-off, Project NET, Now Accepting Pre-Registrations and Beta Testers

Project NET, the highly anticipated third-person shooter spin-off of the popular Girls' Frontline franchise, has officially opened pre-registration and beta testing. The announcement was made via the game's official Southeast Asian (SEA) and Russian (RU) social media and websites on March 3rd and 4th, 2025, respectively.

Pre-Registration is Now Live

Players eager to experience Project NET can pre-register through the official SEA and RU websites. Simply provide your email address and select your preferred platform (iOS or Android).

Shock Point Test: Philippines Exclusive (Initially)

A limited-access, non-monetized beta test, dubbed the "Shock Point Test," is currently underway. This initial phase is exclusively for players in the Philippines using Android devices. All test data will be wiped after completion. A similar test is also planned for the Russian region. The developers are actively working towards a global launch.

The SEA Shock Point Test registration period concludes soon. Those selected will receive confirmation emails between March 24th and 26th, 2025, with additional selections potentially occurring throughout the testing period (dates to be announced).

Project NET's Origins and Girls' Frontline Connection

Initially unveiled on December 27th, 2024, by Sunborn Network (the creators of Girls' Frontline), Project NET underwent its first localized SEA test (Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, and the Philippines) from January 9th to 16th, 2025. Leveraging the established success of Girls' Frontline (launched in 2016), and its recent sequel, Girls' Frontline 2: Exilium (released December 5th, 2024), Project NET promises familiar characters and aesthetics within a new, action-packed gameplay experience.

While a release date remains unannounced, Project NET is confirmed for iOS and Android, based on the devices used in its initial testing phase.
