Reviving Teammates in R.E.P.O.: A Guide

Playing games with friends can elevate the experience to new heights. In *R.E.P.O.*, the challenge is real, with tough monsters that can put your squad to the test. But don't worry, there's a system in place that lets squad members take turns being the one in need. Here's a detailed guide on how to revive teammates in *R.E.P.O.* when they're taken down.

What To Do If a Teammate Dies in R.E.P.O.

When you start a round in *R.E.P.O.*, your health bar is at a full 100. Damage can come from monsters or even from your own items like Human Grenades. To counteract this, you can use Health Packs found at the Service Station. Additionally, *R.E.P.O.* features a unique mechanic where teammates can share health by simply walking up to each other and interacting with their health bar. It's a feature that truly fosters teamwork and could inspire other games to follow suit.

Despite these options, the monsters in *R.E.P.O.* can ramp up their attacks and take down your squad members. When this happens, you have two choices: wait it out or take action. Upon a teammate's death, their head drops to the ground, which you can pick up. Keep an eye on the location where your ally fell or check the map for an icon that matches their character color to find the head.

Where To Revive Teammates in R.E.P.O.

Once you've secured the head, make your way to the extraction point. Place the head on the point, and if your team has met the round's loot requirement (check the top right of your screen), your teammate will respawn with 1 HP. They can then hop into the truck to gain a bit more health, ensuring they're not a complete liability to the squad. After that, it's back to business as usual.

If retrieving the head isn't feasible, there's another way to bring your teammates back: start a new round. This method echoes the mechanics of *Call of Duty* Zombies, where dead players can return at the start of a new round. Although this means you'll be at a disadvantage for the rest of the current round, it can be a strategic move, especially if a teammate is new to the game. It gives them a chance to observe and learn from more experienced players, avoiding high-pressure situations.

That's the scoop on reviving teammates in *R.E.P.O.*. For more on the game, learn about the role of Energy Crystals and how to acquire more. *R.E.P.O.* is currently available on PC, so dive in and experience the thrill of survival with your squad.
