Plus, you can easily evolve your Spotlight Hour Pokémon by transferring extras for bonus candy.

Roselia Spotlight Hour Guide

Roselia Spotlight Hour

This week's Spotlight Hour takes place on January 14th, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Stock up on Berries, Poké Balls, and Incense to maximize your rewards! The featured Pokémon is Roselia, and you'll also enjoy a 2x Catch XP bonus during this hour.

Roselia, the Grass and Poison-type Pokémon (#0315), hails from the Hoenn region (Generation 3). It boasts a max CP of 2114, with 186 Attack and 131 Defense. Roselia is part of a three-stage evolution line: Budew evolves into Roselia (25 Candies), and Roselia evolves into Roserade (100 Candies and a Sinnoh Stone).

Catching Roselia rewards you with 3 Candies and 100 Stardust. Roselia is tradable within Pokémon GO and can also be transferred to Pokémon Home. Its weaknesses are Fire, Flying, Ice, and Psychic-type attacks (160% increased damage taken). It resists Electric, Fairy, Fighting, and Water-type attacks (63% reduced damage taken), with Grass-type attacks causing the least damage (39% reduced damage). Roselia's best moveset is Poison Jab (Poison) and Sludge Bomb (Poison), offering 10.96 DPS and 99.91 TDO. Cloudy weather boosts its attack.

A Shiny Roselia is available! To increase your chances of encountering one, use Incense and be ready to use Berries to secure your catch. Shiny Roselia features a brighter green body and purple and black roses.
