RuneScape unveils exciting 2024-2025 roadmap! Jagex has just dropped a bombshell, outlining a massive content update for RuneScape spanning the next two years. The latest "RuneScape Ahead" video details a wealth of new features, so let's dive in!
What's Coming?
First up: Group Ironman mode! Team up with up to four friends for a collaborative challenge without outside assistance. Launching later this year, it promises a fresh, cooperative adventure.
Autumn brings "The Gate of Elidinis," a challenging new skilling boss encounter within the Sanctum of Rebirth. This leads into a major story quest.
Expect a flurry of story quests throughout 2024 and 2025. Winter will see the return of classic storylines, including a desert-based quest revisiting unfinished business with Amascut. This culminates in a new end-game boss fight against Amascut, the Devourer.
Over 110 skilling updates are planned! This year features Woodcutting & Fletching updates with a new skill tree and weapons. RuneCrafting and Crafting level 110 updates are slated for 2025.
The "Harvest Hollow" seasonal event arrives later this year, bringing a new quest, spooky rewards, and chilling activities. The "Christmas Village" event will return at year's end with festive quests, activities, and gifts.
Excited for RuneScape's Future?
A major new area expansion is also planned for late 2025. Many player-requested features are on the way, including new combat achievements, a fourth Necromancy conjure ability, and a brand-new Slayer monster.
