Rust Unveils Major Update with Improved Cooking, Farming

Rust, the beloved multiplayer survival game, has just released a significant update known as The Crafting Update. This patch introduces a variety of new features designed to enhance players' creative capabilities. One of the standout additions is the culinary workbench, where survivors can now cook up a storm, grilling chicken legs and enjoying them with a shot of Siberian vodka. Cooking requires specific recipes, and well-prepared meals offer stat boosts and gameplay modifiers, adding a strategic layer to your survival experience.

The update also introduces chicken coops, allowing players to raise chickens and chicks. These birds have four essential needs: Hunger, Thirst, Love, and Sunlight. Proper care is crucial, as neglecting any of these needs can lead to the birds' demise. Chicken meat, once obtained, will spoil over time unless stored in a working refrigerator. Conveniently, food items now come with timers showing their expiration dates, helping players manage their resources more effectively.

For those with a penchant for sweets, wild beehives can now be discovered on trees. Extracting honeycombs requires careful handling and relocation to player-crafted hives made from wooden boxes. Bees are not to be underestimated; players must don protective suits, use water, or even resort to flamethrowers to avoid their stings. A new weapon, the Bee Grenade, adds a twist to combat. This jar of honey, when broken, unleashes three swarms of aggressive bees, sending opponents scrambling for cover.

The engineering workbench has undergone a complete overhaul, now boasting a dedicated tech tree for plumbing and electricity. This enables players to construct automated systems and even entire factories, revolutionizing the way they interact with the game world. Additionally, the developers have introduced premium servers, exclusive to players with a Rust inventory worth at least $15. This initiative aims to create a more enjoyable environment by filtering out cheaters and disruptive players, ensuring a smoother experience for dedicated gamers.
