Season 20 of Fallout 76 Introduces Ghoul Transformation and New Mechanics

Bethesda has just unveiled the thrilling details of Fallout 76 Season 20, aptly named "Glow of the Ghoul." This update introduces a groundbreaking mechanic that lets players step into the shoes of a ghoul, offering unique advantages and challenges. Once transformed, players will gain complete immunity to radiation, which will now serve as a healing factor rather than a threat. However, this transformation may lead to hostility from certain in-game factions, significantly altering player interactions.

Starting at level 50, the ghoul transformation removes the need for basic survival elements like hunger and thirst, but introduces a new gameplay mechanic: managing feral progression and radiation accumulation. As radiation levels increase, players can unlock special perks, adding a strategic layer to the gameplay. Furthermore, players have the opportunity to redesign their C.A.M.P. setups with thematic radioactive aesthetics. For those who wish to return to their human form, the option is available at any time, providing flexibility in how players choose to experience the game.

Scheduled for release on March 18, the "Glow of the Ghoul" update is set to revolutionize the way players interact with the wasteland in Fallout 76.
