Uncover the Secrets of The Sims 4's Blast from the Past Event: Locating the Elusive Special Time Capsule

The Sims 4's Blast from the Past event has players on a scavenger hunt, but one task proves particularly tricky: finding the Special Time Capsule. This guide will help you locate it before the event concludes.

The Special Time Capsule within *The Sims 4* Blast from the Past event.

The event begins with a quest to gather information about a mysterious visitor, Emit. While tasks like watching TV and checking social media are straightforward, the Special Time Capsule hunt presents a challenge. The only clue? Look for rocks near parks.

Having spoken to Emit at the Willow Creek park (a natural starting point), search the surrounding area for a rock containing what looks like diamonds. Interact with it to unearth the Special Time Capsule. Note that you might need to examine multiple rocks.

What Treasures Await Inside?

Opening the Special Time Capsule reveals an IOU—perhaps a bit underwhelming after the search. Nevertheless, read the note and return to Emit to unlock further quests within the Blast from the Past event.

Event Duration and Rewards

The Blast from the Past event offers numerous quests, so don't feel pressured to complete them all at once. The event runs until March 18, 2025, giving you ample time. However, participating in all four weeks unlocks valuable rewards:

Week 1: Retro Deco Phone Set, Relevart Time Walkers, The Yesterday Set floor tiles, The Future’s So Bright “Sun” Glasses, The Fun-Fun Inflatable Set, Part One Week 2: Get Up! Alarm Clock, Be “The Emit” full body outfit, Bigger Gatherings Banquet, The Relevart Neck Stabilizer bow tie Week 3: The Fun-Fun Inflatable Set, Part Two, Dina Caliente’s LBD, New Retro Station Songs, Sticky Fingers aspiration Week 4: Surprise Birthday Cake, The ElectroDance Floor

This concludes your guide to finding the Special Time Capsule in The Sims 4's Blast from the Past event. For future updates and events, check out the 2025 roadmap.

The Sims 4 is currently available on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC.
