Netflix's surprise holiday release of Squid Game: Unleashed – a free-to-play battle royale game – is now enticing non-subscribers with enticing rewards for watching Season Two.
What's in store for current players? Starting January 3rd, experience a new map inspired by the "Mingle" mini-game from Season Two. Playable avatars Geum-Ja, Yong-Sik, and rapper Thanos will also debut throughout January.
Geum-Ja and Thanos unlock via special in-game events on January 3rd and 9th respectively. Watching Squid Game Season Two earns you in-game Cash and Wild Tokens; watching seven episodes unlocks the Binni Binge-Watcher outfit!

- January 3rd: New Mingle map and Geum-Ja character. The Dalgona Mash Up Collection Event (until January 9th) challenges you to complete Mingle mini-games and collect Dalgona tins.
- January 9th: Thanos arrives with his recruitment event, "Thanos’ Red Light Challenge." Eliminate players with knives to unlock him (event runs until January 14th).
- January 16th: Yong-Sik joins the game as the final new character.
