GSC Game World has released a massive update for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl, addressing over 1,700 issues in version 1.2. This comprehensive patch tackles numerous aspects of the game, resulting in significant improvements across the board.

Key changes include enhanced NPC behavior, with more realistic corpse interactions and looting. NPC shooting mechanics and reactions to stealth have also been significantly improved. Mutant behavior has received multiple fixes, addressing several reported bugs. Balance adjustments have been made to pistols and suppressors. The update also includes a large number of bug fixes specifically for the story mode, alongside optimization improvements targeting errors and FPS drops. Finally, several audio enhancements have been implemented.
