Control Your Seasonal Content

The update introduces a new setting to manage seasonal events, including the Nier:Automata DLC. Go to Settings > Gameplay > Seasonal Event Content and choose from:

  • Auto: Automatically enables or disables seasonal content based on the current season.
  • Disable: Deactivates seasonal content regardless of the season.
  • Enable: Activates seasonal content regardless of the season.

This gives players complete control over when they experience the holiday festivities. Remember, changing this setting requires a game restart.

Mixed Reactions from Fans

The announcement was mostly well-received, with many fans affectionately dubbing Eve "Christmas Eve." However, some players expressed concerns about the frequency of event updates in a single-player game with a relatively short playtime (around 30 hours). The need to restart the game to fully enjoy the seasonal content was also a point of contention.
