Journalist Stashes in Stalker 2 are scattered throughout different regions on the map, with some regions having more than one stash for players to loot from. One of the Journalist Stashes in the Garbage Region is located inside the Maze made up of cars and trucks. The stash contains a powerful suit of armor but is positioned in a hard-to-reach spot within the Maze. However, this guide will discuss a way for you to reach the stash with ease.

How to Get the Garbage Journalist Cache in Maze

Players must head northwest from the Slag Heap towards the Car Maze to get the Journalist Stash in Stalker 2. Although there seem to be multiple entrances to the car maze, you should enter through the main entrance marked on the map above.

After entering the Maze, keep going right until you approach a burned-up bus tilted on its side. See on your left, and you'll see another bus with a blue exterior. You'll spot the Maze Journalist Stash after climbing on top of the bus. Get down on the other side and open the stash to claim the Tourist Suit Body Armor.

Is the Tourist Suit Body Armor Any Good?

The Tourist Suit is one of the best early to mid-game body armor you can have in Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl. It offers decent thermal, electrical, and chemical protection to players. Its stand-out bonus attributes are the significant radiation and physical protection it provides, which can help you withstand increased levels of radiation and other sources of damage.

Apart from reinforcing the physical defenses of players, it also helps them improve their stamina regeneration rate by 5%. Stamina is one of the most important stats in Stalker 2, as you'll be constantly traveling to different locations in the world by foot. Having a high stamina paired with good regeneration will help you be on the move for longer, making traveling a little bit easier.

Although the Tourist suit is good enough on its own, you can make it even better by upgrading it. Although Lens at Zalissya won't be able to upgrade this suit of armor, you can take it to Diode at Slag Heap. He has greater expertise than Lens and will be able to help you upgrade the suit with high-quality mods to make its attributes even better.
