Enhance Your Fortnite Experience with Moments: A Guide to In-Game Music

Fortnite Chapter 6, Season 2: Lawless introduces "Moments," a fun new feature that lets you customize your Battle Royale matches with your own music. This guide explains how to access and use this exciting addition.

What are Fortnite Moments?

Beyond the new Quests, Item Shop additions, and Battle Pass, the main menu now features Moments. These allow you to add music to your matches, playing background tracks after exiting the Battle Bus and upon achieving a Victory Royale. The best part? You select the tracks from your personal music library.

How to Use Fortnite Moments

Jam Tracks in the Fortnite Moments menu.To personalize your Battle Royale soundtrack, navigate to the Locker tab in the main menu and locate the Moments section. You'll find options for Intro Music (playing before landing) and Celebration Music (playing after a Victory Royale). Select a song from your Jam Tracks library for each.

How to Get Fortnite Moments

If your library lacks the perfect track, expand your options by visiting the Item Shop's "Take Your Stage" section. Hundreds of Jam Tracks are available, featuring artists like Metallica, Bad Bunny, Lil Nas X, and Kendrick Lamar. Each song costs 500 V-Bucks (approximately $4.50). For better value, consider the Music Pass, which includes multiple Jam Tracks, instruments, and accessories. The current Icon is Hatsune Miku, but the pass also includes tracks from artists such as Jennifer Lopez and CAKE.

Alternatively, you can listen to the in-game radio, but where's the fun in that?

That's how to get and use Fortnite Moments. For more Fortnite news, check out the rumored collaborations for the Lawless season.

Fortnite is available on various platforms, including Meta Quest 2 and 3.
