The Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Buffer Weight Stock attachment is boosting the power of several weapons, but unlocking and equipping it isn't straightforward. Here's how to get it.
Unlocking the Buffer Weight Stock
Unlike most attachments earned through gameplay, the Buffer Weight Stock is unlocked via the in-game "The Hit List" event. Access the "Event" tab in the Black Ops 6 Multiplayer main menu. Locate the "Community" section; the Buffer Weight Stock will be available for unlock simply by viewing the event page. The community goal of eight billion eliminations has already been met.
Equipping the Buffer Weight Stock
While the attachment is now readily available, its use is limited. The Buffer Weight Stock can only be equipped on three specific weapons: the XM4 Assault Rifle, the DM-10 Marksman Rifle, and the XMG Light Machine Gun. This limitation prevents the attachment from dominating gameplay.
For eligible weapons, equipping the Buffer Weight Stock is simple. Navigate to the Gunsmith, select the "Stock" attachment slot, and choose the Buffer Weight Stock. Its significant accuracy boost can drastically improve performance in Multiplayer. Keep playing to unlock additional rewards from The Hit List event.
