World of Warcraft Has Good News for Players Who Forgot to Spend Their Anniversary Event Currency

WoW Patch 11.1: Unused Bronze Celebration Tokens Auto-Convert to Timewarped Badges

Patch 11.1 of World of Warcraft will automatically convert any remaining Bronze Celebration Tokens into Timewarped Badges. This conversion, at a rate of 1 Bronze Celebration Token to 20 Timewarped Badges, will occur upon the player's first login after the patch launches.

The World of Warcraft 20th-anniversary event, featuring the acquisition of Bronze Celebration Tokens for purchasing revamped Tier 2 sets and anniversary items, concluded on January 7th. Blizzard confirmed these tokens would have no future use. This automatic conversion prevents players from retaining unused, obsolete currency.

This convenient conversion will happen automatically for all characters holding Bronze Celebration Tokens in their currency tab. While a specific release date for Patch 11.1 is unannounced, considering the timing of other in-game events (Plunderstorm and Turbulent Timeways), a February 25th release is highly probable.

This means the conversion will likely occur after the second Turbulent Timeways event concludes. Timewarped Badges, obtained through this conversion, can be used in various Timewalking events, with no planned removal of purchasable rewards. Players are encouraged to log in promptly after Patch 11.1's release to claim their Timewarped Badges.
