WordPix is one of our top picks from Pocket Gamer Connects London

Author : Caleb Feb 23,2025

Following Pocket Gamer Connects London, we got hands-on with some exciting new game releases. One standout title was WordPix, a captivating word-based puzzle game.

WordPix presents players with images and challenges them to guess the corresponding words. The gameplay is straightforward; a scaly reptile might be a "Lizard," while a certain rodent is a "Capybara." While the core concept isn't overly complex, it provides an engaging mental workout for on-the-go play.

To maintain player engagement, WordPix offers diverse game modes. These include solo and multiplayer options, along with "Beat the Boss" challenges for those seeking head-to-head competition against the AI. Daily challenges, featuring "Word of the Day" and "Quote of the Day," plus a Sudoku mode, add further variety and replayability.

WordPix's appeal is clear: a clean, user-friendly interface, an accessible yet challenging core mechanic, and diverse gameplay modes. We anticipate future updates from the developers to further enhance the experience as the game launches globally this year. Currently, iOS users in the US and UK, and UK Android users, can enjoy WordPix.
