Xbox Game Pass Ultimate Welcomes EA Sports UFC 5 and Diablo
Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers can now enjoy two highly anticipated titles: EA Sports UFC 5 and Diablo. These additions mark the conclusion of Wave 1 for January 2025's Game Pass additions.
Released a remarkable 27 years apart, these games represent a diverse range of gaming experiences. Diablo, the seminal hack-and-slash RPG released in late 1996, needs no introduction. UFC 5, the latest installment in EA Sports' MMA franchise, launched in October 2023.
While Microsoft aims for cross-platform availability, these titles deviate from that norm. Diablo is PC-exclusive, while EA Sports UFC 5 requires an Xbox Series X/S for local play. However, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members with sufficient internet speed can stream UFC 5 via Xbox Cloud Gaming.
Activision Blizzard Titles on Game Pass
With Diablo's addition, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate now boasts 13 Activision Blizzard titles (counting Spyro and Crash trilogies as three games each). This signifies a steady influx of Activision Blizzard games since Microsoft's acquisition in late 2023, averaging almost one new title per month. More titles are anticipated.
