Set in a post-apocalyptic New Eridu, the last human city after the devastating Hollows event, players take on the role of a "Proxy" to explore this unique urban fantasy world. A departure from MiHoYo's usual sci-fi and fantasy settings (like Honkai and Genshin Impact), Zenless Zone Zero aims for a bold new direction.

Zenless Zone Zero's July 4th release adds to MiHoYo's already impressive portfolio, building on the phenomenal success of Genshin Impact. The livestream highlighted the game's unique urban fantasy setting and emphasized its strong musical component.
