ZZZ Cracks the PS5 Top 10

Zenless Zone Zero, a free-to-play action RPG, has quickly established itself on PlayStation. Building on the success of Genshin Impact and Honkai: Star Rail, miHoYo's foray into multiplatform gaming is proving highly successful.

The game's strong performance is evident in its recent placement within the top 10 most popular PlayStation games, according to Circana's "US Player Engagement Tracker Top 10 Titles" report. This ranking, based on weekly user engagement (excluding playtime), places ZZZ alongside established heavyweights like Elden Ring and Minecraft.

ZZZ Becomes Top 12 Most Played Game on the PS5

Launched on July 4th, ZZZ's impact was immediate, securing the #12 spot on the PS5 Top 40 most-played games chart during its debut week. Further highlighting its success, PocketGamer.biz reported nearly $52 million in gross player spending ($36.4 million net) on mobile within the first 11 days of release, peaking at $7.4 million on July 5th across the App Store and Google Play.

While not yet surpassing the overall success of miHoYo's other titles, Zenless Zone Zero confidently stands alongside industry leaders like Call of Duty, Fortnite, and Roblox. On the Epic Games Store, it boasts a strong 4.5/5 star rating, with players praising its engaging boss battles and compelling narrative.

Our review awarded ZZZ a 76/100, commending its visually stunning graphics and fluid animations. Read the full review here! [link]
