SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics) is a W3C-standardized vector image format. Unlike bitmap images composed of fixed pixels, SVG graphics are built using predefined shapes and their properties. The key advantage of SVG is its ability to scale seamlessly without losing quality or detail.
PainterSVG is a dedicated SVG editing tool offering these capabilities:
- Draw and modify basic shapes including lines, circles, rectangles, and more
- Create and edit paths with support for straight, cubic, and quadratic lines – simply drag anchor points to adjust curves
- Customize stroke and fill properties for all shapes and paths
- Apply solid colors, linear gradients, or radial gradients to objects

- Group and ungroup elements effortlessly
- Import and export standard SVG files
