Launched in 2016, the "Guardians of the Road - Our Shared Responsibility" project aims to promote road safety awareness and discourage reckless driving. Since January 1, 2023, the "Safe Path" association has been managing this initiative.
Any adult aged 18 or older can download the Road Guards app and begin reporting traffic violations.
The app operates simply and efficiently—activate it before driving, then use the reporting feature when witnessing violations. Reports can be submitted via voice command or steering wheel Bluetooth button press, triggering automatic recording of the incident.
Submitted reports route to a volunteer-staffed control center featuring experienced traffic specialists. Following review, offenders receive a "Notice of Violation" including video evidence. For severe offenses, reports escalate directly to law enforcement.
