This casual game app offers a fun, brain-teasing experience, playable solo or with a friend on a single smartphone! Based on the classic rock-paper-scissors, the goal is to defeat your opponent's King, similar to chess. Even if you find Shogi challenging, this game is easy to pick up and play. Perfect for school friends, colleagues, or anyone looking for a fun pastime!
Gameplay:
The core mechanics utilize rock-paper-scissors to determine combat outcomes. The pieces available are:
- Goo: Defeats Scissors.
- Scissors: Defeats Paper.
- Paper: Defeats Goo.
- King: Can attack any piece and moves one square in any direction.
Key Rules:
- A piece can only attack once per turn.
- Attacking and defending pieces cannot occupy the same space.
- Captured pieces are placed in a designated area.
- Attacking a piece of the same type results in a draw (Aiko).
- Aiko allows the player to place a piece on top of an opponent's piece, effectively blocking it (unless the opponent can attack the piece).
- Reaching the opponent's side with a piece upgrades it. The King similarly gains an additional movement square.
Game Modes:
This game currently features a single-player mode, allowing you to hone your rock-paper-scissors Shogi skills without competition. There are approximately 20 stages to master! Can you conquer them all?
