Adin Ross Remains Committed to Kick with "Bigger" Plans on the Horizon
Popular streamer Adin Ross has confirmed his long-term commitment to the Kick streaming platform, putting an end to speculation about his departure. Ross's unexpected absence from Kick earlier in 2024 sparked rumors of a potential exit, but his recent return with a new livestream, alongside fellow creators, signals a significant shift.
Ross, known for his controversial yet engaging streams, joined Kick after a Twitch ban in 2023. His move, along with other high-profile streamers like xQc, significantly contributed to Kick's rapid growth. While 2023 saw considerable success for Ross on the platform, his abrupt departure in 2024 fueled speculation, including rumors of a rift with Kick CEO Ed Craven.
However, a December 21, 2024 livestream with Craven confirmed Ross's intention to remain on Kick. A subsequent tweet further solidified this commitment, assuring fans of his return and stating his plan to "stay for good this time." His January 4, 2025 livestream, a 74-day hiatus ending, alongside Cuffem, Shaggy, and Konvy, cemented this decision.
Ambitious Future Plans for Ross and Kick
Ross's tweet also hinted at "something even bigger" in the pipeline, fueling anticipation among his followers. Many speculate this relates to his Brand Risk boxing events, a project he intends to expand with Kick's support. Given past legal issues with Misfits Boxing in early 2024, future Brand Risk endeavors will undoubtedly be closely watched.
Ross's decision is a significant boost for both himself and Kick. The platform, actively competing with Twitch, aims to either surpass or acquire its larger rival, a goal that seems increasingly attainable given its current momentum and strategic partnerships with top streamers. Kick co-founder Bijan Tehrani previously expressed this ambitious goal, highlighting the platform's aggressive growth strategy.
