Get ready, Pokémon TCG Pocket fans, because the Celestial Guardians expansion is set to launch globally on April 30th, 2025. Immerse yourself in the enchanting Alola region, where you can soak up the Sun and explore under the Moon. This exciting update promises a thrilling experience for both new and seasoned players.

What’s New in Pokémon TCG Pocket Celestial Guardians Expansion?

The Celestial Guardians expansion introduces two brand-new digital booster packs, spotlighting the legendary Solgaleo and Lunala. Alongside these cosmic titans, you’ll find Lillie and other beloved characters from the Alola era making their appearance.

For collectors, this expansion is a treasure trove with over 200 cards to discover. Highlights include powerful Pokémon ex cards like Solgaleo ex and Lunala ex, alongside the much-anticipated arrival of Alola’s starter trio—Rowlet, Litten, and Popplio—to the Pocket app.

Starting May 1st, showcase your collection with pride using the new Rowlet-themed binder cover and display board. Don’t miss the chance to explore the celestial wonders of the Celestial Guardians in Pokémon TCG Pocket.

What Are the Events?

From April 30th at 06:00 a.m. UTC to May 13th at 05:59 a.m. UTC, dive into solo battles to earn exclusive promo cards, including a special Rayquaza ex card featuring the dragon legend.

Simultaneously, from April 30th to May 29th at 05:59 a.m. UTC, engage in special missions to unlock a unique version of Rayquaza ex, along with various accessories and other rewards.

The Half-Year Celebration for Pokémon TCG Pocket kicks off on April 29th at 11:00 p.m. PDT, just hours before the new expansion hits. Until May 12th, participate in solo battles to receive Promo Pack A Series Vol. 7 boosters, where you can find the new Rayquaza ex promo card. The missions will continue through May 28th.
