Assassin's Creed Shadows Art Book Leaks on a Hentai Site, of All Places

Author : Owen Mar 21,2025

Rumors of an Assassin's Creed Shadows artbook leak are swirling online, originating from an unexpected source: a hentai website. The book, titled "The Art of Assassin's Creed Shadows," reportedly contains hundreds of pages of concept art, quotes, and development information for the upcoming game. While the original source has removed the gallery, archived versions are circulating on other file-sharing platforms.

The Reddit thread on r/GamingLeaksAndRumours highlights the unusual origin of the leak, sparking significant interest. Ubisoft has been contacted by IGN for comment.

The leaked art showcases concepts for historical figures, major cities, and weaponry, potentially hinting at plot details for Assassin's Creed Shadows. While authenticity can't be fully confirmed until the game's release, the images appear genuine.

The leak surfaces just before Assassin's Creed Shadows' revised launch date of March 20, 2025, following a delay from its initial 2024 release. In a recent preview event, game director Charles Benoit explained the delay was primarily for polishing and minor adjustments to progression and balancing. He specifically highlighted challenges in refining the parkour system due to the complexity of Feudal Japanese architecture: "The Japanese architecture, the roofs [are] super complex...We needed specific codes and specific animations to support something super fluid, changing the transition of the parkour to make it even more fluid."
