A Surprising Freebie: Bennett or Bust?
Let's tackle the main point of discussion – the free Bennett. While many players anticipated receiving Kachina, a Natlan native, as a free character, Hoyoverse has opted for a different approach. Instead, the adventurous Bennett will be the free 4-star character offered during the Genshin Impact Special Program.
Interestingly, rumors suggest Bennett originates from Natlan, making him a somewhat fitting choice. Obtaining him will require completing a world quest. However, Kachina will not be given away for free, marking a departure from the previous tradition of providing a free character from the new region to aid exploration.
A Generous Helping of Free Wishes
Now, let's turn our attention to the aspect that has everyone's Primogem reserves on high alert – the free wishes. The initial count of 113, revised to 110, and subsequently increased to 115, seems to have finally settled. Diligent players who complete all Version 5.0 content can expect this many wishes. However, those with less time for grinding can still anticipate approximately 90 free wishes.
With Version 5.0 launching on August 28th, Genshin Impact's 4th anniversary is also fast approaching. This means even more rewards are on the horizon. Hoyoverse is introducing a 7-day login event soon, offering ten fates, 1600 Primogems, a free pet, and a gadget.
