Crunchyroll brings the rhythm-based roguelike, Crypt of the NecroDancer, to Android! Now available as "Crunchyroll: NecroDancer," this beat-matching adventure originally launched on PC in 2015 and has now received a major mobile update.
This isn't just a simple port; Crunchyroll's version boasts enhanced content, including remixes, fresh additions, and even Danganronpa character skins! Cross-platform multiplayer and mod support are also included.
What awaits you in the Crypt?
Players take on the role of Cadence, a treasure hunter's daughter searching for her missing parent within a rhythmically-infused crypt. The roguelike nature ensures each playthrough is unique. Fifteen playable characters, each with distinct styles, add to the replayability. Set to the original, epic soundtrack by Danny Baranowsky, the gameplay requires precise timing to move, attack, and avoid enemies while collecting loot in procedurally generated dungeons. Missing a beat means game over! Expect a cast of uniquely dancing foes, from skeletons to hip-hop dragons.
More to Come!
Future updates include DLC featuring the popular virtual singer Hatsune Miku and the Synchrony expansion.
