Cyberpunk 2077's Fortnite Debut: Why No Male V?
Fortnite players eagerly awaited the arrival of Cyberpunk 2077 items, a highly anticipated crossover. While the collaboration delivered a stylish item set, the absence of the male version of protagonist V sparked fan speculation and debate regarding CD Projekt Red's marketing strategies. The explanation, however, is far simpler.

Patrick Mills, Cyberpunk 2077's loremaster and the decision-maker for this collaboration, clarified the situation. The bundle was designed for only two characters, with Johnny Silverhand being a mandatory inclusion. This left space for only one version of V. Given Johnny's male gender, selecting the female V was a practical choice, further influenced by Mills' personal preference.

Therefore, the omission of the male V wasn't a deliberate decision, but a matter of practical limitations. This marks Keanu Reeves' second Fortnite skin appearance, following the earlier inclusion of John Wick.
