Unlock the "Pose of the Unbound" Emote in FFXIV Patch 7.16!
Patch 7.16 of Final Fantasy XIV introduces exciting new quests and cosmetic rewards. This guide focuses on obtaining the coveted "Pose of the Unbound" emote.
Obtaining the Emote:
To acquire the "Pose of the Unbound," you must complete the quest "Imposing Views." This quest is available from the Unbound Agent NPC in Ul'dah – Steps of Thal (coordinates X:12.5, Y:11.5).
Prerequisites:
Before "Imposing Views" becomes available, you must first complete the quest "Picking Up the Torch." This requires:
- Reaching level 100 with one character in each of the five roles: Tank, Healer, Ranged DPS, Melee DPS, and Magical Ranged DPS.
- Completing the respective role quests for each class in Tulliyollal.
Once "Picking Up the Torch" is finished, "Imposing Views" will unlock in Ul'dah.
Completing "Imposing Views":
"Imposing Views" is a relatively simple quest. It involves traveling to the Sagolii Desert, interacting with Apyaahi multiple times, and engaging in some combat. Upon completion, you'll receive the "Pose of the Unbound" emote.
Using the Emote:
To use your new emote, simply type /unbound or /poseoftheunbound into the chat box and press Enter. Your character will strike a humorous, Jojo-esque pose.
