Niantic is launching a final Catch-a-thon event for Pokémon Go in 2024, offering a second chance to catch Community Day Pokémon and earn exclusive rewards, including shiny versions of featured Pokémon.
This event runs from 2 pm to 5 pm local time on December 21st and 22nd. Featured Pokémon include:
- December 21st: Bellsprout, Chansey, Goomy, Rowlet, Litten, and Bounsweet.
- December 22nd: Mankey, Ponyta, Galarian Ponyta, Sewaddle, Tynamo, and Popplio.
During the last ten minutes of each hour, players can encounter Porygon, Cyndaquil, Bagon, and Beldum. The event also boasts 2x XP for catching Pokémon and 2x Stardust, along with numerous other rewards. Full details are available on the official Pokémon Go website.
Following major updates this year, including the introduction of Gigantamax Pokémon, Niantic is ending the year with one last community event.
