NCSoft's Multiplayer MOBA, Battle Crush, is shutting down. This is surprising, given the game never reached its full release. Following a global test in August 2023 and early access in June 2024, the game will cease operations on November 29th, 2024.
Battle Crush End of Service (EOS) Date:
November 29th, 2024. In-game purchases are no longer available. Refunds will be issued for purchases made between June 27th, 2024, and October 23rd, 2024. Android and Steam players can request refunds from December 2nd, 2024, to January 2025. Access to the game ends November 28th, 2024. The official website remains online until May 30th, 2025, for support. Social media and Discord will close January 31st, 2025.
Unexpected Closure?
The announcement is understandably disappointing for players. While enjoyable, Battle Crush suffered from gameplay issues; controls felt unresponsive at times, and the pacing lacked polish. These shortcomings ultimately contributed to its premature closure.
