Marmalade Game Studio unleashes Exploding Kittens 2, the official sequel to the popular card game, this evening. The creators of the Monopoly franchise are adding new gameplay and features to this video game adaptation of the hit tabletop game and Netflix animated series.

Exploding Kittens 2 retains the charm of its predecessor, boasting customizable avatars, expressive emojis, and vibrant animations that bring the cards to life. The game features a variety of game modes, challenging players to outsmart opponents with Bear-o-dactyl cards while avoiding the explosive felines. Strategic use of Defuse and Nope cards, including the new "Nope Sandwich" with extra "Nopesauce," adds a new layer of chaotic fun.
Three classic expansions—Imploding Kittens, Streaking Kittens, and Barking Kittens—return with revamped gameplay. A season pass grants access to all three at launch, with ten more expansions on the way. Players can also personalize their avatars with stylish outfits and use quirky emojis to taunt their rivals (or simply express their inner mayhem!). Check out the fun in the trailer below!
Launch Day Rewards Await!Tonight's launch includes special events and in-game rewards. Players can compete globally or enjoy single-player mode, using Nope cards to unlock exclusive goodies. A special event simplifies acquiring the coveted "Most Valuable Kitten Outfit."
