Flappy Bird Is Returning After 10 Years With New Modes And Features!

Flappy Bird is soaring back into the spotlight! Over a decade after its initial flight, this iconic game is set for a triumphant return in an expanded form, launching in Fall 2024. Missed your chance to master the flapping frenzy? Get ready for a second chance, with versions arriving on multiple platforms, starting with a Q3 2024 release, followed by Android and iOS launches in 2025.

So, What's New?

The Flappy Bird Foundation—yes, there's a foundation dedicated to this beloved game—has secured the official trademark and rights to the original character. This dedicated group of fans even acquired the rights to Piou Piou vs. Cactus, the mobile game that inspired Flappy Bird, showcasing their deep commitment to the game's legacy.

The relaunch promises exciting new features: expect fresh game modes, a colorful cast of new characters, and engaging multiplayer challenges. While the core gameplay remains true to the original, expect bigger challenges, enhanced progression systems, and a completely revamped gaming experience.

Are You Ready to Flap Again?

Simple, frustratingly challenging, and undeniably addictive, the original Flappy Bird captivated casual and hardcore gamers alike. Its sudden removal from app stores in February 2014 left a void, filled only by numerous clones that, while fun, lacked the magic of the original. Now, the chance to once again navigate those infamous green pipes is within reach.

While official platform pages are yet to launch, keep an eye on the Flappy Bird Foundation's official X (formerly Twitter) account for the latest updates.

And for a different kind of gaming adventure, check out our news on Foundation: Galactic Frontier, a sci-fi shooter based on Isaac Asimov's acclaimed series.
