Fortnite Leaker Reveals Another Upcoming Anime Crossover

Fortnite's Next Crossover Could Be Kaiju No. 8, Leaks Suggest

Recent leaks indicate a potential crossover between the popular battle royale game Fortnite and the hit anime series, Kaiju No. 8. Given Kaiju No. 8's current global popularity, this collaboration seems plausible. Further fueling speculation, rumors also suggest a possible Demon Slayer crossover is in the works.

The news follows Fortnite's recent Winterfest event conclusion and the release of its first major 2025 update. This update included new cosmetics, gameplay adjustments (such as using Fortnite Festival instruments as back blings and pickaxes), and a local co-op mode for Fortnite Festival. These additions coincide with a flurry of speculation surrounding upcoming features and collaborations.

Prominent Fortnite leaker HYPEX tweeted about the potential Kaiju No. 8 collaboration. Kaiju No. 8, which began as a manga and received an anime adaptation in 2024 (with a second season slated for 2025), follows Kafka Hibino, a young man who gains kaiju-transforming abilities. His journey involves joining an organization dedicated to eliminating these monsters. A Kaiju No. 8 crossover would add another popular anime to Fortnite's roster, joining titles like Dragon Ball Z.

More than just Kaiju No. 8?

Beyond Kaiju No. 8, multiple sources suggest a Demon Slayer crossover is imminent. While details remain scarce regarding both anime collaborations, many fans anticipate new cosmetics in the Item Shop, with some hoping for map-based character representations.

Additional leaks hint at further MonsterVerse additions beyond the upcoming Godzilla release (available January 17th via the Chapter 6 Season 1 battle pass). King Kong and Mechagodzilla cosmetics are reportedly on the way. With a wealth of new content on the horizon, the Fortnite community eagerly awaits Epic Games' next moves in 2025.
