The presentation highlighted extensive ship customization, open-world sea exploration, thrilling naval battles, engaging mini-games, and diverse explorable locations. Goro Majima, a series staple, will boast two distinct combat styles: a swift, agile approach and a more brutal style utilizing short swords and pirate weaponry.
Players can recruit a unique crew of allies to aid in battles, exploration, and treasure hunts. The game promises hidden islands and original side quests to discover during gameplay.
A major announcement came at the presentation's conclusion: Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth's "New Game+" mode will be a free post-launch addition via a patch! This is a welcome change from the previous Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth title, where this mode was exclusive to the pricier edition, drawing criticism of SEGA.
