Goat Simulator Series Is Getting a Card Game, Coming Later This Year

Get ready for some goat-fueled chaos! Goat Simulator, the wildly popular video game, is branching out into the world of card games. Yes, you read that right – a Goat Simulator card game is on its way! Expected to launch later this year, this new title promises to deliver the same brand of absurd fun that made the original franchise a hit.

Coffee Stain North, the creative minds behind Goat Simulator, have teamed up with MOOD Publishing (known for titles like Deep Rock Galactic: The Board Game and Valheim: The Board Game) to bring this unique card game to life.

What We Know So Far About Goat Simulator: The Card Game

Details are still scarce, but we know the game will support 2-6 players engaged in a hilarious battle of goat-powered mayhem. Expect all the signature absurdity of the video game series, neatly packaged in a card game format.

The game will launch on Kickstarter later this year as a physical card game. If you've ever experienced the joys (or utter chaos) of launching a goat into the digital stratosphere, you can probably imagine the potential for fun in a card game adaptation.

Santiago Ferrero, Creative Director at Coffee Stain North, perfectly captured the spirit of the project: “Chaotic animal-based video games are so last year. That’s why we’ve partnered with MOOD Publishing to release a chaotic animal-based card game instead! You’ve seen goats on your screen; now it’s time to bring them to your table.”

From April Fool's Joke to a Full-Fledged Franchise

What began as an April Fool's Day prank in 2014 has blossomed into a surprisingly enduring phenomenon. Goat Simulator has conquered PCs, consoles, and mobile platforms (Nintendo Switch, iOS, Android, and Apple Arcade), maintaining its relevance throughout the years.

Now, with Goat Simulator 3 continuing the legacy of its predecessors, a card game joins the ever-expanding Goat Simulator universe. In the meantime, you can explore the existing Goat Simulator games available on the Google Play Store.
