GTA 6: Ex-Rockstar Developer Hints at Groundbreaking Realism

Rockstar Games Sets a New Standard with GTA 6

In a recent interview with GTAVIoclock, former Rockstar Games developer Ben Hinchliffe shared his perspective on the upcoming GTA 6. Hinchliffe, a contributor to several Rockstar titles including GTA 5, Red Dead Redemption 2, and L.A. Noire, offered a glimpse into the game's development.

Hinchliffe expressed his excitement about GTA 6's evolution, emphasizing the significant progress made since his departure. He highlighted the game's refined content, story, and overall development, stating his confidence in the final product.

Rockstar Games unveiled the official GTA 6 trailer last year, showcasing the new protagonists, the Vice City setting, and a glimpse of the crime-filled adventure awaiting players. Scheduled for a Fall 2025 release exclusively on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, details about the game remain scarce. However, Hinchliffe confirmed that GTA 6 represents a significant leap forward for Rockstar.

He noted the continuous evolution of Rockstar's games, emphasizing the increasing realism in character behavior and interactions across their titles. "I think [Rockstar Games] has raised the bar again, just like they always do," he stated.
