January PS Plus Titles Revealed

January 2025's PlayStation Plus Free Games Lineup: A Trio of Titles

PlayStation Plus subscribers can now claim three free games for January 2025: Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered, and The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe. These titles are available until February 3rd.

This month's selection includes the controversial Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, a PS5 title from Rocksteady Studios, known for its work on the Batman: Arkham series. While its reception was mixed upon release in February 2024, PlayStation Plus members can now experience it at no cost. This title boasts the largest download size of the three, weighing in at 79.43 GB on PS5.

The lineup also features Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered, a PS4 title (with backwards compatibility on PS5) clocking in at 31.55 GB. While it lacks native PS5 enhancements, it remains a popular racing game.

Finally, The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe offers native versions for both PS4 (5.10 GB) and PS5 (5.77 GB). This expanded version of the 2013 original includes new content and improved accessibility.

Game Details & Storage:

  • Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League (PS5): 79.43 GB
  • Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered (PS4): 31.55 GB
  • The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe (PS4/PS5): 5.10 GB (PS4), 5.77 GB (PS5)

To download all three games on PS5, ensure you have approximately 117 GB of free storage space.

Sony is expected to announce February 2025's PlayStation Plus games towards the end of January. The service will also see additions to its Extra and Premium tiers throughout the year.
