The King of Fighters AFK is now available for early access in Thailand and Canada! Fans in these regions can download the game immediately from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store. Early access players are guaranteed to recruit Mature from the Orochi Clan.
While King of Fighters Allstar may be discontinued, King of Fighters AFK offers a fresh mobile experience. This retro RPG-inspired title features beloved characters from the iconic fighting game franchise in 5v5 battles. Netmarble confirms that progress made during early access will carry over to the full release.
A Different Approach
KoF AFK faces a challenge in winning back fans. Unlike the crossover-heavy King of Fighters Allstar, this new title adopts a distinct RPG style.
However, the game features Neo-Geo Pocket-inspired character sprites, and early access players receive Mature, a powerful Orochi clan member. This may appeal to some players, while others may remain hesitant. Hopefully, KoF AFK will deliver enjoyable, casual action.
