Konami's developers have provided an update on the highly anticipated Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater remake. Producer Noriaki Okamura confirmed in a recent 4Gamer interview that the studio's top priority for 2025 is delivering a refined, high-quality remake that meets fan expectations.
Okamura stated that the game is currently playable from start to finish, with the remaining development time dedicated to polishing details and enhancing the overall quality. While PlayStation previously suggested a 2024 release, the game is now officially slated for release next year across PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
The remake aims to faithfully capture the essence of the original while incorporating modern gameplay mechanics and significantly upgraded visuals. Okamura also hinted at the inclusion of new features designed to enhance the overall gaming experience.
Konami unveiled a compelling trailer for Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater in late September. The over two-minute trailer showcased key moments from the game, including the protagonist, antagonists, action sequences such as an airdrop and a firefight, promising a thrilling experience for players.
