Their involvement suggests a fresh approach to adapting the Monopoly property, potentially moving beyond previous stalled attempts. These past efforts, including involvement from Ridley Scott and other notable figures, ultimately failed to materialize. However, Lionsgate's acquisition of eOne from Hasbro appears to have reignited the project, paving the way for Daley and Goldstein's vision.
