Marvel Rivals Announces Balancing Changes in Season 1

Marvel Rivals Season 1: Eternal Night Falls – Dracula, Fantastic Four, and Balance Changes

Get ready for a thrilling new season in Marvel Rivals! Season 1: Eternal Night Falls, launching January 10th at 1 AM PST, brings a host of exciting updates. Dracula takes center stage as the main villain, while the Fantastic Four join the roster, expanding the already impressive lineup of heroes.

The Season 1 battle pass, priced at $10 (990 Lattice), offers 10 enticing skins and rewards players with 600 Lattice and 600 Units upon completion. Mister Fantastic and the Invisible Woman debut at launch, with Human Torch and The Thing arriving a few weeks later. Three new maps and a fresh game mode, "Doom Match," further enhance the gameplay experience.

Balance Adjustments:

This season also features significant balance adjustments. Hela and Hawkeye, previously dominant forces, will receive nerfs to promote greater strategic diversity. Meanwhile, mobility-focused Vanguards like Captain America and Venom are getting buffs to enhance their effectiveness in combat. Other adjustments include buffs for Wolverine and Storm, encouraging unique gameplay strategies, and improvements to Cloak and Dagger to boost their team compatibility. The developers are also addressing player feedback regarding Jeff the Land Shark's ultimate ability hitbox.

While no details were shared about changes to the Seasonal Bonus feature, Season 1 promises a wealth of new content and refined gameplay. The community eagerly anticipates the launch and the impact of these changes on the competitive landscape.
