Marvel Snap Unveils Dark Avengers Season of Evil

Author : Claire Feb 02,2025

Marvel Snap embraces the dark side with its new Dark Avengers-themed season! Norman Osborn's villainous team, posing as beloved heroes, takes center stage.

This season introduces a roster of nefarious characters, including Iron Patriot (Norman Osborn), Victoria Hand, Bullseye, Moonstone, and Ares. These additions are inspired by Marvel's Dark Reign storyline, the aftermath of the Civil War arc, where Osborn seized control of S.H.I.E.L.D. (renamed H.A.M.M.E.R.) and assembled his own twisted Avengers.

New card releases are staggered: Victoria Hand (January 7th), Bullseye (January 21st), Moonstone (January 14th), and Ares (January 28th). Players will also encounter a new location, Asgard Besieged, depicting Thor's realm under attack.

A Shadowy Lineup

Fans will relish the return of familiar and underappreciated characters. Their diverse abilities add exciting gameplay dynamics. Victoria Hand, for instance, boosts the power of cards in your hand, while Norman Osborn summons a random high-cost card upon being played, potentially reducing its cost based on your next turn's advantage.

Beyond the Dark Avengers, the season features a new Daken card (disguised as Wolverine) and a range of cosmetic items to flaunt your villainous affiliation. Marvel Rivals' Galacta also makes her debut! Prepare for a season of strategic villainy and exciting new additions to your Marvel Snap deck.
