Uncover the mystery surrounding your father's disappearance in "My Father Lied," a captivating point-and-click adventure game launching May 30th!
Ahmed Alameen, a writer and filmmaker, presents his debut title, a narrative-driven puzzle game inspired by Mesopotamian history. Step into the shoes of Huda, a young woman who embarks on a quest to unravel the truth behind her father's vanishing twenty years prior, a mystery further complicated by the revelation of a previously unknown sibling.
Alameen, initially collaborating on the project, took the reins after a team split, mastering game design to complete his vision. The gameplay revolves around classic point-and-click mechanics: explore richly detailed environments, piece together images, decipher codes, and more. Expect a haunting atmosphere reminiscent of titles like Myst and Heaven's Vault, infused with the literary style of H.P. Lovecraft.
Employing a blend of 2D and 360-degree imagery, including meticulously crafted frame-by-frame cutscenes, Alameen delivers stunning visuals optimized for even low-spec PCs.
"My Father Lied" will be available on May 30th for $10.99/€ on the App Store, Google Play, and Steam. Add it to your Steam Wishlist now! Mobile pre-registration isn't yet available.
