Monopoly drops a new Valentine’s Day themed update with new house rules and a quiz

Monopoly's Valentine's Day Update: Love is in the Air (and on the Board!)

Get ready for a romantic twist on classic Monopoly! Marmalade Game Studio and Hasbro have released a special Valentine's Day update for the Android and iOS versions of the game, brimming with limited-time content.

This update features a fun quiz that matches you with one of four love-themed Monopoly tokens. Enjoy a 24-hour free trial of your matched token, followed by a discounted price if you wish to keep it.

Experience Monopoly like never before with revamped House Rules designed for faster gameplay. Choose from options like Quick Hotels (build three houses instead of four), Quick End (game ends after the first bankruptcy), Quick Jail (escape on your first turn), and Starting Title Deeds (begin with three random properties). Plus, you'll bypass taxes and chance/community chest spaces for a streamlined experience.

Adding to the Valentine's Day festivities, a charming set of Cupid-inspired tokens and the "Sweethearts" bundle, featuring adorable cherubs, are now available.

Radu Rovin, Head of Studio at Marmalade Game Studio, commented, "We aimed to create an event celebrating diverse expressions of love this Valentine's Day—from friendships formed while playing Monopoly to enjoying some self-care with a favorite game. We hope our players enjoy this special celebration!"
