Celebrating Monster Hunter's 20th Anniversary: A Collaboration with Digimon!

The highly anticipated "Digimon COLOR Monster Hunter 20th Edition" is here, marking a momentous partnership between Capcom's action-RPG giant and the iconic Digimon franchise. This special edition of the popular V-Pet device features designs inspired by the beloved Rathalos and Zinogre monsters.

Digimon COLOR Monster Hunter 20th Edition: Now Available (Japan Only)

Priced at 7,700 Yen (approximately $53.2 USD, excluding shipping and other fees), each device boasts a vibrant color LCD screen, advanced UV printing, and a convenient rechargeable battery. Familiar features include customizable backgrounds and the "Cold Mode" mechanic, allowing temporary pauses in monster growth and stat changes. A backup system ensures your progress and digital creatures are safe.

Currently, pre-orders are open exclusively through Bandai's official Japanese online store. International fans should be aware of potential additional shipping costs. High demand has already resulted in a sell-out shortly after the announcement. The first pre-order window closes today, November 2nd, at 11:00 p.m. JST (7:00 a.m. PT / 10:00 a.m. ET). Follow the Digimon Web Twitter (X) account for updates on future pre-order opportunities. The official release date is slated for April 2025.
