Nintendo Unveils Date for Highly Anticipated Switch 2 Direct

Nintendo's highly anticipated Nintendo Switch 2 has been officially unveiled, though a comprehensive reveal is slated for a Nintendo Direct presentation on April 2nd, 2025. A brief teaser showcased the console alongside a new Mario Kart title.

The website announcement states: "Nintendo Direct: Nintendo Switch 2 will air on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, offering a closer look at Nintendo Switch 2, the successor to Nintendo Switch releasing in 2025. The broadcast time will be announced on this website and on our social media accounts at a later date."

European events will take place in Paris (April 4-6), London (April 11-13), Milan (April 25-27), Berlin (April 25-27), Madrid (May 9-11), and Amsterdam (May 9-11). Additional events are planned for Melbourne (May 10-11), Tokyo (April 26-27), Seoul (May 31-June 1), and Hong Kong/Taipei at a later date.
