Pokémon GO's March 2025 Community Day Lineup and Beloved Buddies Event Details
The March 2025 Pokémon GO Community Day extravaganza begins with Fuecoco, the fiery croc Pokémon! This guide covers the event details, upcoming Community Day dates, and rewards from the concurrent Beloved Buddies event.
Fuecoco's Fiery Community Day Debut
Fuecoco takes center stage on March 8th, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM (local time). Expect increased Fuecoco spawns and boosted shiny rates. Evolving your Fuecoco to Skeledirge (via Crocalor) during the event week unlocks the powerful Charged Attack, Blast Burn. Skeledirge can also learn Torch Song, without time restrictions.
A special Timed Research event runs until March 15th, 10:00 PM (local time), offering a Fuecoco encounter with a Seasonal Special Background and further enhanced shiny odds. A separate, paid Community Day Special Research ($2.00) provides three Fuecoco encounters (also with Seasonal Special Backgrounds), Rare Candies, and a Battle Pass. This ticket is giftable to Great Friends and above.

Beloved Buddies Event: Candela or Arlo?
The Beloved Buddies event, launched February 11th, 2025, features Dhelmise and a Timed Research with two branching paths: Candela (Team Valor) and Arlo (Team GO Rocket).
Initial tasks reward Ultra Balls, Remoraid, and Mantine encounters. Choosing a path unlocks different rewards:
Candela Path: Poffins, Stardust, Ultra Balls, and encounters with Luvdisc, Shellder, and Rapidash.
Arlo Path: Poffins, Stardust, Ultra Balls, a Pocket Radar, and encounters with Cubone, Slowpoke, and Scizor.
